Learning 2.0

Libraries must keep up with the technology of today if we are to stay relevant to society today. Our youth twitter, Flickr, YouTube, My Space and anything else they can do online. The Internet age with all of its ramifications and endless possibilities of uses on and with the Internet are limitless. Those of us including myself that are over 35 must get on board and learn these new uses for technology and as librarians we must stay abreast in the field of technology. Our libraries must offer the opportunities for our patrons to use this technology for their social networking, gaming or heavens forbid doing research online.
